No items found.The Radiology deals with diagnostic imaging of anatomic structures through the use of electromagnetic radiation and radio waves. The imaging techniques used in our medical centre include x-rays and radio waves, the latter in a magnetic field.
Conventional Radiology Services
Traumatology & Orthopaedics: Examinations of bones & joints. Pain of musculoskeletal system including spine, arthritis, rheumatic disease, gout, anomalies.
ENT and Neurology: Inflammation of paranasal sinuses, tumours, injuries, foreign bodies.
Paediatrics in cases of ability to co-operate: Developmental diseases, growth problems, screening for foreign bodies, inflammation, tumours.
Cardiology, Pneumology and Gastroenterology: Inflammation, mass, cardiac insufficiency, venous stasis symptoms, dysphagia, heartburn
Urology: Inflammation, mass, obstruction collecting system
Obstetrics and Gynaecology: Aberration, inflammations and tumours, pelvis measuring.
MRI Services
Head: Brain including eye sockets, investigation of the cause of headaches, dizziness, hearing problems, discomfort, paralysis, visual disturbance.
Spinal column and spinal cord: Inter-vertebral disc diseases, tumours, malformation, and multiple sclerosis.
Throat: Thyroid, investigation of swelling in particular lymph nodes, croakiness.
Stomach and Pelvis: Investigation of diseases of the liver, gall bladder and bile ducts, pancreas, kidneys, suprarenal glands, urinary and sexual organs, pelvimetrie.
Limbs: In particular the hand, elbow, shoulder, hip, knee and ankle joints.
Angiogram: Brain vessels including sinuses, blood vessels supplying the brain, abdominal and renal arteries, pulmonary arteries for suspected cases of embolism.
