Our Obstetrics/Gynaecology Department deals with the female reproductive organs in their pregnant and non-pregnant state.

We screen for certain diseases including cancers of the breasts, cervix, uterus, ovaries, vagina and surrounding area. We also diagnose and treat female reproductive health issues that include sexually transmitted diseases, menstrual issues, diseases of the breasts, uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries, as well as fertility problems, premenstrual syndrome and menopause related issues.

Our specialist is responsible for helping women have healthy pregnancies and healthy newborns. This includes the monitoring of a pregnant women and antenatal care.

Tip: Every woman should make an appointment with an OB/ GYN every year beginning at the age of 21. It is extremely important to return for annual pap smears and pelvic exams according to individual recommendations by your OB/ GYN. Also, consult your OB/ GYN anytime you experience anything that is not normal for you or if have any questions about your reproductive health.
