Al Rawdah German General Hospital regularly holds events within the community. These events not only help us to raise our profile in the community, but also to increase awareness of certain medical issues. Additionally, where possible we will join forces with a not-for-profit organisation to raise funds for the less fortunate in our community.

Some of the events we have been involved in throughout 2011 include:

In-kind sponsorship of the inagural waiter race (April) - Al Rawdah German Medical Center provided two registered nurses on stand-by for both the participants and the spectators.

Nurses Day (May) - Nurses at Al Rawdah German Medical Center were treated to a special lunch in recongition for all their hard work!

Sponsorship of L'Officiel Arab Woman of the Year Awards (May) - Al Rawdah German Medical Center sponsored the "Medicine" Category of L'Officiel Arab Woman of the Year Awards. For further information - click here

Iftar Banquet (August) - To celebrate Ramadan and to thank the many stakeholders that Al Rawdah German Medical Center liases with regular, we held an Iftar Banquest at Armed Forces Officers Club which was well attended by approximately 150 people.

Free Blood Pressure Tests - Mall Stand at Abu Dhabi Mall (September) - To celebrate World Heart Day, we held free blood pressure tests over three days at Abu Dhabi Mall. The stand kept us busy with approximatey 550 blood pressure tests provided.

Kidz Fest and Open Day (October) - Approximately 400 people took the opportunity to visit the Center to meet with our German specialists and check out the latest technology on offer while the kids were treated to a variety of free activities. We also raised 2,500 AED for the Future Center for Special Needs through a raffle draw.
